I've heard a lot about how there just aren't enough votes to win. So when you can beat them, you join them. Since Nancy Pelosi can't get the votes to impeach Bush or Cheney, must work to help Bush keep slaughtering people in the ME and to help start a war against Iran, leading possibly to open war against Syria and Turkey, both to b backed by Russia and China. In essence, the beginning of World War III.
Dennis Kucinich understands that joining an promoting evil, simply because you fear you can't defeat it, is not an option.

When the repubs changed their votes to support the investigation they thought they would get it to pass and then some sort of circus would begin to make the dems look bad. Well now we know what happened, but still a whole lot of republicans are on record having voted to support the bill. No way they can change that.
You take your fun wherever you can find it these days.
Best political moment of 2004. DKucinich was scheduled to speak in Bath, Maine. I went to cover the event for the community newspaper I wrote for at the time.
I had a 101 degree fever and Kucinich was 45 mins late, but it was worth felling like hell and the wait.
He spoke extemporaneously, with passion and exuding charisma, for 45 mins and I knew I had to vote for the man, whether he had a snowball's chance to win, or not.
It's sad that so-called electable schmucks like Clinton/Obama get all the press coverage and Dennis continues to get marginalized.
One of the many things wrong with American politics.

Impeachment is too kind for hizzazz.
You can't impeach Cheney, wease, he is neither executive, nor legislative. Neither animal, nor vegetable. He is Super Dick, Supreme Ruler of the Universe. Faster than a speeding subpoena, more powerful than an ethics committee investigation. Able to topple tall buildings in pursuit of his dream of world domination, and more money.
