Disturbing on a number of levels.
The video mentions looting as something which will happen in a crisis (which I agree with.) What I'm expecting -- even gleefully anticipating! -- is that next year's "Black Friday" consumorgy will be a loot-fest in many locations. With mobs of people acting wildly, it won't take a criminal genius to have a gang of thieves that uses the melee as cover to set off a disruption -- tear gas? smoke bombs? flash-bang grenades? starting fires in a Mall-Wart? -- which will make everyone run OUT of the stores. With pricey goods in their hands. Security guards and local police might be able to catch a single shoplifter, or 10, but they won't stand a chance of stopping hundreds dashing out at once with whatever they can carry.
There's gotta be some Italian Mafia types scheming this out, maybe even Crips and Bloods, or Mexican narcogangs. I say "Bring it on!" Time to punish the Big Boxes for sponsoring this degrading excess, pumping up the dummies with advertising psychology so they turn into animals. Just because people CAN be degraded into deranged herds doesn't mean they SHOULD be.
BTW, who's behind Natural News TV? I Oogled a little, but didn't find the backing or philosophy. The anti-psych meds pitch made me wonder if Natural News is a Scientology front. If so, they hide it well. I was reading some of the stuff at the bottom of another Natural News post, and scanning the ads. Nothing Scientological, but a lot of gold-buggery and natural foodiness. Not that I have anything against either, being guilty of some of that myself.
I was also hoping it would have something about the neuroscience of crowd psychology and rioting.
Humans have a herd mentality and politicians and businesses know how to capitalize on that.
Thanx for the vid Jack ... yep, this is more stupidity, and when folk's get injured at these, I blame the store's .... they are the one's who make folk's so desperate, and encourage this lining up once a year to get thing's at a fair rate you been getting soaked on the rest of the year. Again ... those who lead and money putting folk's in desperate situation's. Ya'll have a good Christmas Jack if I dont see ya again
Weasel this really shows how our society is crumbling from within. Very sad even though the video is manipulated to make its point.
