Thanks Weaseldog, I meant to watch that and never did. What a dweeb. I have my shotgun, but really, I was thinking guillotine by now. Maybe a few more decades of this and people will actually oust an incumbent or two. Not that it matters.

Your standard Repug BS artist. lying like a rug and the debilitating part is you know they are lying, it will get a lot worse, and you are powerless to do anything.
Him and Bernanke might be on watch but they are taking the hit for what was set up on Greenspan and the chief idiots watch. Like everything else Bush touched this is just beginning, will get a lot worse, and will not be controlled. All the stimulus packages in the world are worthless other than the fact they will bankrupt the country a tad faster!

Phillip Swagel scares the hell out of me in this video.
As others have pointed out, we need 100k new jobs to see zero growth. So we're really falling behind by 160,000 jobs a month.
And our friend Phil here, says it's about to start getting much worse. He says they think they might maybe, see the bottom. But they aren't sure.
They are sure that things are going to decline fast for a time.
I didn't see any lies in that video. I saw a poor attempt to avoid addressing the questions.
I believe them when they say that they 'hope' stuff will get better. But I don't believe that stuff is getting better, and Phil made it clear that he knows that his hopes are empty too.
Too bad Milbank won't just leave the Washington Post. He has an excellent sarcastic sense of humor that can be better employed elsewhere.
Of course, he'd have to take a huge pay cut.
