That's funny, I saw it as a parody on religion where the guy in the dreadlocks was Hank, who was pulling an internet scam. What does this video mean to you, Weaseldog?
I believe this video was intended to hi-light the absurdity of faith based thinking. The million dollars represents our reward in heaven. Leaving town is death. Etc...
But I expect you got that... :)
I think you're right though, it can be applied to pretty much any situation where belief is based on faith and trust in our government certainly requries a form of blind faith, the ability to believe in absurd things and to ignore reality itself.
Yes, when I retire, I can expect to draw on Social Security...
That seems to be the message.
