Our Fearful Government
We're definitely well on the road to Fascism. In four years, they'll be gunning Americans down with real bullets.
If you read the comments on YouTube, it seems that many people, or maybe just many paid trolls, love this stuff. It gets their rocks off. They don't give a shit about the US constitution. They don't care if laws are unconstitutional. They don't care if judges are breaking the law, legislating from the bench, and making unconstitutional decisions. They just like watching Americans get tear gassed.
And they are winning. The war against the Constitution is wrapping up. These folks will soon get to whoop and holler, from the safety of their televisions, as they watch Americans get beaten and killed by our government. They'd get pissed if a Muslim beat an American to death, but it's cream in the britches time, if our government does it.

Son of a gun Wease!
I was so appalled at what I heard last night I had to shut it off. It was 1938 Germany all over again. I had to post the videos and reiterate the `0 steps and 14 threads of Fascism. We are there!
i'm thinking we are already there.
I still shake my head wondering how we arrived here so fast. Back in 2000, I guess many of us were naive. The coup the brought Cheney and Bush to power rolled in like a quiet tide, unannounced, not looked for.
Of course the seeds of fascism were deeply planted in the soil of American politics. There is a deep yearning, an itch that wants to be scratched for repression and "consequences" in this land of "freedom and opportunity." -- I imagine there's a deep unexamined need in the psyche -- a sense of unworthiness that gets projected outward-- that makes people into xenophobic reactionaries. The fascist oligarchs merely take advantage of that itch and scratch it with the tools of statecraft.
What has become of our freedom? So sad.

Most people will never get it and realize this started with Reagan, Bush and Cheney really furthered it, and McCain is scheduled to continue it.
This is not a quiet tide it is an ebb tide and we are just beginning to shovel the shit against the tide!
This is not a Democracy it is a facade of one at least for now until they openly admit to the new Fascist America!

Wease Fascism is here and now! I was just on the phone talking to one of my sons and he agrees. It is getting pretty bad but they are not open about it yet but will be. The more I hear about Palin the more concerned I am. She is so fascist and perfect for the right!
