70,000 tons can you believe it and That is small potatoes when you lump in all sources and waste. And it is here forever. It is daunting! We need another source of Uranium, there has to be something better than uranium oil and coal.

That's really the kicker though AP.

I know you're just getting exasperated.

But there doesn't 'have' to be anything. there's no reason to believe that what we've been granted by providence, isn't all we're gonna get.

If we had been rational and responsible, we may have taken a different course. Those beings likely wouldn't be exclaiming, "There has to be more!"

We can rationalize a lot of waste if we have faith that we're about to have an unknown miracle breakthrough in energy technology or that the US Gov is keeping alien energy technology secret until we really need it.

But if we were look at our inventory and say, "Let's assume this is Apollo 13, and this is all we get to work with.", our perspective could very well change dramatically.

A woman once told me that America would never run out of natural gas, because Jesus will just refill the fields.

Who can argue with logic like that?
