This is bad enough, but just wait until the next Republican president gives Blackwater/Xe more power to arrest and imprison.

Thanx for the vid's here WD ... I didnt know about the Judge conviction here, but do know quite a bit about the youth facility scam's, especially here in Texas, and the Wackenhut parole violator facilities here (not sure if they still have that particular contrct, but if they dont, someone else got the bid for sure, but they had it for a long time) as well as the pharma industries medicating low income youth's in Texas, as well as Southern California (LA area), and Florida, which is a multi million dollar business, and the kid's have no choice in taking the drug's or not, of course the tax payer's pay for the drug's and that goes to the pharma peddler's, etc, etc (I did some posting on it, but cant recall the title) I know the prison scam industry in Texas as well as the contract's to comapnies like Wackenhut had for the RPV's ("Return Parole Violator" facilities, you use mostly "RPV's" so that question's dont arise too much, since they already have "prior's" basically) ... to make it short (Texas) ... the inmate's of these place's do all the plumbing, electrical, painting, remodeling of old closed down jail's in rural area's such as deep south Texas in the Valley and such, but it's invoiced or such as a contractor doing it, the tax revenue then goes to the private firm's, they also have the inmate's doing house maintenance and work for the prison's upper staff's, and this work is milked, etc, and basically what you have is a legal slave system set up using small time RPV's, that usually are all from low income poverty urban kid's, broken home's, etc with prisoner's and background's that are used to milk the revenue's basically ... it's really deep dude, but I know quite a bit on how the scam work's, and I cant say how in a public forum like this. So I have to leave it here.

One more thing WD/ Jack ... I liked the title you put up, because frankly there is no such thing anymore as "free market", it's mostly a monopoly now, unless you are inde and work the black market's, otherwise as a small business person, you are a slave to the corporate industry, but there is nothing left like say over a quarter century ago.

"No charges have been filed against the private prisons who paid the judges." Kinda says it all, eh? If you're a blatant enough indiividual crook who TAKES money, you are sometimes made an example of. If you're a powerful corporation that STARTS a scheme and GIVES bribe money, you're cool. Perhaps because you've given more bribe money to other people who will keep the heat off your ass?

I hope more young people start burning down the "private prisons" they're held in.

Hi Weaseldog. I knew all about this and this proves we live in a fascist lawless country run buy an oligarchy of the privileged. I think I mentioned in a comment on Edgar or my blog that private prisons are a growth industry. Our county jail is massive.

This privitization of prisons has been going on for some time now. It's abhorrent that they are extending this privitization to the juvenile justice system which already has so many issues. It's sad that this country will spend so much money killing children overseas but won't spend an extra dime to help kids here reach their potential. It's easier to lock them up then to teach them to read I guess.
