OT but I just wanted to tell you that I had to put my dog to sleep yesterday. Old age was his enemy. I still hold out hope that your little guys come home.

Patricia, please accept my condolences. I know how hard that can be.

We've had a few calls from folks that thought they saw my dogs.

One woman today sounded like she was shaking. She found a Catahoula pup that looks like mine, in October. And she was heartbroken with fear that she might have to give her up. She sounded so relieved when I told her that there was no chance it was my dog.

I actually saw her dog when I was out walking Saturday and she does look a lot like mine. Just a bit smaller and younger.

We got a new puppy Monday. Another Catahoula pup. She weighed about nine pounds at six weeks. And she's growing fast. My wife spent that first weekend crying, so I got the pup to help us both move on.

I'll leave the flyers up, but it is heartbreaking to keep going out to look for them.
