In this link, wease look up at the Artic on the right.you should see a very brief flare up looks like around 12-08-07. Weird when you see how constant the rest of the white stays. What do you think?

Could that flare up be volcanic? It is off the coast of Greenland.

Maybe currents are stalled, and so the waves are higher? Perhaps the Artic Ice Cap is done with freezing a little early in the season?

This may turn out to be an eciting storm season.

Dang. I just tried to take a look at your Peak Oil site, but it's down at the moment. Will try again later.

I'm sorry Candace. I need to remove that link. I closed it because I was getting hit hard by spambots doing auto-subscribes.

The envirsat link will not give current gulfstream velocities.
here is this link;

I think the Euro tanks on this.
Buy yuan? They have turned out the lights on gulfstream info, if you can find any current G.S. imfo please post.
ps, the latest wave post calmed a bit. all the yellow is gone.
Before the site went down the swath of huge waves was also a swath of low 30s degree water.
I'll touch post if I find any real time stuff.
