Corporations Is People
Karl Denninger defends the recent Supreme Court decision that says that becasue Corporations are People as defined by the US Consitution, they deserve the same Constitutional Rights as their Flesh and blood counterparts.
Except that the US Constitution doesn't define corporations as people. But Karl doesn't care about that. For him, corporations are included in 'We the People of the United States of America'.
But better yet, they are really Super Uber People. That have all of the rights of flesh and blood humans. But a different set of laws applies to them. If through the course of their business they kill thousands of human beings, they only face civil and legal fines. Some of the replacement parts in a corporation may go to jail, but the corporation can't be imprisoned or face the death penalty for it's crimes. human beings of course, can.
Corporations are not only people, but they are also immortal. If they can get big enough, they can enslave governments and profit from nothing but tribute. the largest ones, don't even work in the realm of the twisted and distorted market. If they face risks, taxpayers cover their losses.
So really corporations demi-gods and gods. They even enjoy protections from the US Consitution in many cases. Mercenary Corporations who slaughter human beings for profit, are above and beyond the law. They are greater than the US Constitution.
The Telecom Corporations can read and distribute our emails, record our phone calls, and share this data with anyone they want, without any fear of prosecution. they have blanket immunity. They can record your business calls and sell them to your competitors. They have that right.
So really in this nation now, if your a flesh and blood human being, you're really just a sub-person. While you're bound by laws, the US Supreme Court has now created a master race of people, that really aren't bound by laws, by any reason comparison.
Welcome to the Brave New World.
I hope you enjoy it Karl.

Hi weaseldog,
The corporations use shareholder, aka pension fund money, to bribe the CONgreff to work against the people and for the kleptocrat class. I plan to permanently boycott stocks from now on. I will not help fund my enemies.
My ambition is to be a flea, hopping around and sucking little bits of blood from the corporations, while being too small for them to squish. But yeah, with this "corporate personhood" (which had been long ranted about on one of the left-wing talk radio shows we listen to while it was in the making) decision, the U.S. is even more f@cked. It will be interesting to watch the collapse. Except it will probably kill me eventually.
